Root Canal Treatment
In the past, if you had a tooth with an infected nerve you would probably need to have the tooth removed. With a procedure known as Root Canal Treatment (RCT), we can extend the life of your tooth by removing the infected nerve tissue.
Using a dental laser, we can gain access to the root canals and remove the diseased tissue. The shaping and cleaning aspects of the root canal treatment can also be completed using laser technology.
Many patients who are treated with laser technology experience less post-operative discomfort and swelling. In some cases, the use of a dental laser can eliminate the need for anaesthesia in root canal treatment.
