To ease you into your first appointment we will work together to ensure your waiting time is minimal, and we will take the time to listen to your dental concerns prior to any sort of treatment. Communication is a fundamental part of our practice. We will endeavour to pay attention to your personal needs at all times, keeping conscious of any signs that you may be feeling uncomfortable or afraid. During your visits we will do our best to help you relax and feel ok with the situation.

No dental drill at Just Smile

Some patients are concerned about the sensations associated with the dental drill such as vibrations or heat. Here at Just Smile we have invested in laser technology so your treatment can potentially go by without vibrations or drilling noises. Laser technology can also be used to seal the gums, stop bleeding and remove bacteria from your smile.

Mentally preparing yourself for your appointment

To help you feel calm before your appointment, we suggest dabbing some lavender on your temples. Avoid self-medicating with alcohol or prescription medications so that you keep your body clean. Bring things that may comfort you. If you have a wheat bag or an MP3 player feel free to bring it along with you if you feel it may calm you down.
