Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body…

Acid in its essence is a word associated with pain and deterioration but Hyaluronic acid, also called Hyaluronan, is a biocompatible substance that can be found existing harmoniously within the body around the eyes and joints. It is commonly used for joint disorders such as osteoarthritis because it functions by cushioning and lubricating the joints and tissue.

For cosmetic purposes Hyaluronic acid is used to:

  • Get rid of wrinkles and folds by adding volume under the skin
  • Lip augmentation
  • Removing acne scars
  • Restoring youth and beauty to the skin

Sometimes when Hyaluronic acid is injected it can cause ache and redness but it’s applications towards cosmetic treatments are miraculous and has been proven to improve sores around the mouth when applied directly. The Hyaluronic acid can become incorporated into the metabolic process and any benefits it provides is usually temporary.

So how do dermal fillers work?

If you prove to be a viable candidate for dermal fillers we will start by prepping you for the injections. The initial injection should take around ten minutes and you will begin to see gorgeous results about a week after the treatment and should last for six months or more. Please note that this is a temporary treatment and the effects are not permanent.

$199 Check Up & Clean Offer

  • In order to provide you with the best of care and assessment, additional records may be required by the dentist at this examination appointment. Additional records may include clinical intraoral and extraoral photographs , OPG radiograph, lateral cephalometric radiograph which are not included in this deal, and may be performed during the examination process at additional charge or at the dentist’s discretion for a rebate only fee if you have private health insurance that covers the additional items. Should you object to having additional records taken, please inform the front office coordinator at the time of booking your appointment.
  • A scale and clean is provided to you assuming that there is no active gum disease such as gingivitis and periodontitis. Scale and clean does not substitute for the need of gum treatment.
